Our Story

Lalmani Memorial Sansthan was founded in 2003 by a dedicated group of social activists, led by Mr. Jitendra Mohan Jha, who currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of the organization. Since its inception, the Sansthan has been at the forefront of non-governmental efforts to promote a rights-based, gender-sensitive approach to human development.

Driven by the belief that social development is a shared responsibility, LMS works to complement and strengthen government efforts, while maintaining an independent role in shaping public policy, influencing programs, and serving as a catalyst for social change.

LMS supports innovative research, experimentation, and social action across multiple domains of human development. It provides a forum for experience sharing and brings together professional expertise to expand the operational reach and effectiveness of development programs.
